During 29 March - 1 April the Ukrainian scientific delegation, composed of the Member of the Advisory Board of Technopark "Kyiv Polytechnika" Mr. Mykola Petrenko, vice-rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine " Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" professor Alexei Novikov and CEO GSMSoft, which is part of the industrial park "Kyiv Polytechnic" , Mr.Olexander Svyshchevskyi visited the State of Qatar on a working visit.
With the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar a series of meetings with the leaders, teaching staff and students of "Qatar University" were organized. The "Qatar University" is the state`s largest higher education institution.
The parties discussed in detail the possibilities of establishing inter-university cooperation in the field of ICT, programming, joint development of modern scientific solutions and programs.
During the visit it was agreed to continue contacts in the most promising areas of cooperation. The leadership of Qatar University was officially invited to visit Ukraine and, in particular, NTU KPI during the next academic year 2014-2015 .
