During their stay in Doha to prepare a series of reports on the state of Qatar the Embassy of Ukraine was visited by the crew of the National Television Company of Ukraine headed by Mrs. Nadiya Baziv – the chief editor and presenter of the "Audience" program on the First National Channel.

In his brief interview the Ambassador of Ukraine in Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko spoke about the current state and prospects of Ukrainian - Qatari cooperation.

Ukrainian journalists noted the importance of presence of the Ukrainian diplomatic institution in Qatar, which helps to maintain regular contacts with the Qatari side on a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and guarantees the timely protection of the rights and interests of our fellow citizens who temporarily reside and work in Qatar.

While in Doha the crew of the "First National" channel met with prominent Qatari personalities, visited places of historical and cultural heritage, examined Qatari transport, sports and tourism infrastructure.

 Relevant materials about Qatar will soon appear on the "First National" channel of Ukraine.
