On July 4, 2014 the Ambassador of Ukraine Mr.Yevhen Mykytenko took part in celebrations dedicated to the 40-th anniversary of the largest oil company in Qatar "Qatar Petroleum", created by Emiri Decree on 4 July 1974

The year 2014 marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Qatar Petroleum (QP), which was formed by Emiri Decree No. 10 issued on 4 July 1974.

Today, Qatar is the world’s No. 1 exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG) with its production capacity of 77 million tons per annum, and it is also known as the global capital of gas-to-liquids (GTL) products. Qatar is a reliable energy supplier to customers in all corners of the world, and the country’s product portfolio has expanded to include not only crude oil and natural gas but also various petrochemicals, refined products, fertilizers, fuel additives, helium, and many other products.
