On November 11, 2014 the Ambassador of Ukraine Mr.Yevhen Mykytenko along with other members of the diplomatc corps accredited to Qatar attended the opening ceremony of the 43-rd session of the "Shura" Advisory Council (Parliament) of Qatar.

The event began with an introductory remarks by the Emir, Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani, who welcomed the members of the legislature body on the beginning of the current session, after which the Chairman of the "Shura" Council Mr. Mohammad Al Khuleyfi delivered a speech.

Council "Shura" is an advisory body, all 35 members of which are appointed by the emir of Qatar.
