Between 07-10 December, 2014 in Doha (Qatar) under the auspices of the UN International Telecommunication Union the international telecommunications forum ITU Telecom World 2014 is being held, which is considered as a leading platform where exchange of knowledge and experience in the development of electronic networks takes place as well as major achievments in information and communication technologies (ICT) are announced.
The event will be mainly focused on issues related to the study of the impact of ICT on socio-economic and industrial development of societies, the phenomenon of so-called "Digital revolution" will be widely discussed.
The opening ceremony of the forum, attended by the Prime Minister, Interior Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani, was attended also by the heads of foreign diplomatic missions, including Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko.
The next forum ITU Telecom World-2015 will be held in the Budapest (Hungary).
