In the framework of the participation of the business community representatives of Ukraine in the International exhibition of construction, decoration and roofing materials "COVERTECH" (Doha, 04-06 February), with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar, a business forum titled "Gulf - Ukraine: Building bridges for business traffic" was organized.

Special guests of this event were Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Agееl - Secretary General of "GOIC", which specializes in providing consulting services to the Gulf states in the industrial production, the head of the board of companies "Ebhar Enterprises" Dr.  Moyasser As-Siddique and senior partner of the Ukrainian legal company "ASTERS" Mr. Armen Khachaturyan.
At the beginning of the forum the Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko made some welcoming remarks, in which he briefed on the current state of Ukrainian-Qatar trade and economic cooperation and defined the basic perspective directions of further cooperation with Qatar in investment, energy, agriculture, medicine, tourism spheres etc .

The event was widely covered by Qatari arabic and English-speaking media.
