On April, 13 -th the Ambassador of Ukraine Yevhen Mykytenko attended the grand opening of the Embassy of Moldova in Qatar. At the ceremony the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Natalia Gherman was present. In her speech, she stressed that Doha was the first Arab country to have established an embassy in Moldova. Last year the Embassy of Qatar was opened in Chisinau, yet the first and only Arab diplomatic mission in Moldova.
