On July 28, 2015 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko met with Mr. Yousef Jeham Al-Kuwari, Executive Director of Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Company «Muntajat».

The negotiations were devoted to establishing direct cooperative ties between the Qatari producers of chemicals and petrochemicals products and their Ukrainian potential partners. The meeting confirmed the growing interest of Qatari manufacturers in the markets of the Eastern Europe countries, particularly Ukraine.
