On September 4^th, 2015 in Doha with the support of the Ukrainian community activists and participation of the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Qatar, the solemn celebration of Independence Day of Ukraine took place.
The event was attended by dozens of Ukrainian families residing in Qatar. Mainly, our compatriots work in Qatar as doctors, coaches, teachers, musicians, engineers, managers of hotel industry etc.
During this event Ukrainian songs could be heard and traditional Ukrainian dishes were offered.
Those who were present at the celebration were welcomed by the Charge d'Affaires a.i. of Ukraine in Qatar Mr. Maxim Subh, who gave a speech and read out the greeting of the President of Ukraine Mr. Petro Poroshenko on the Independence Day of Ukraine.
