Ambassador Yevhen Mykytenko commented on the speech of the Emir of Qatar in the UN

On September 30-th at the request of Qatari Arabic newspaper "Al-Watan" Ambassador of Ukraine Yevhen Mykytenko commented on the basic provisions of this year's speech of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Al Thani at the General Debate in the framework of the 70th session of the United Nations in New York.
In particular, the Ambassador stressed the importance and timeliness of the Emir of Qatar emphasis on the need to urgently address the priority issues, which have been threatening the security in the Middle East for many years, such as the Arab-Palestinian conflict, civil wars in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, the spread of terrorism and others.
The Ambassador praised the efforts of the Qatari leadership exerted for the defence of human rights at both local and international levels.
