On October 18, 2015 the Ambassador of Ukraine Mr.Yevhen Mykytenko held a meeting with Board Member, Secretary General – Business Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Qatar, Mr.Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Obaidly.

During the meeting, in which representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine to the State of Qatar Mr.Dmytro Bondarenko participated, the Qatari side was informed about the establishment of the Ukrainian part of Ukrainian-Qatari Business Council and proposed to hold its inaugural meeting at the end of November in Doha.

Proposals of Ukrainian companies in construction, education, machinery, health and agriculture spheres were presented to Qatari partners. The request to accelerate the formation of Qatari part of the Business Council in order to start its work has been expressed.
