Between 10-12 of November, 2015 to participate in the 4th International Agricultural Exhibition “AGRITEQ-2015” an official delegation of Ukraine headed by the Chairman of the Group for Interparliamentary Relations "Qatar-Ukraine" in the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine Mr. Andriy Artemenko visited Doha.

The delegation included representatives of a number of Ukrainian companies specializing in the production of grain, confectionery, meat and dairy products.

With the assistance of the Embassy of the Ukrainian the delegation was received by the Minister of Environment of Qatar Mr. Ahmad Al-Humeydi who supervises as well the sphere of agriculture (photo 1), the Minister of Energy and Industry Mr. Mohamed Al-Sada (photo 2), Defense Minister of Qatar Mr. Hamad Al Atyyiah (on Photo 3), with whom the possibility of attracting financial instruments of Qatari defense ministry to establish supplies of Ukrainian food products to Qatar and expanding production capacity of the Ukrainian factories through the accumulation of foreign investments, including Qatari ones, was discussed.

Ukrainian delegation also visited the headquarters of the main state food organization of Qatar "Hasad-Food", where the involvement of leading Ukrainian producers and exporters in the program of food security of Qatar was reviewed.
