On December 18, 2015 Qatar celebrates its National Day, which is celebrated starting from 1878.

The ceremonial parade on the corniche of Doha was attended by H.H. the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Al Thani, the Father-Emir Sheikh Hamad Al Thani, members of the ruling family and the government, heads and representatives of accredited diplomatic corps in Qatar.

In the box for honored guests diplomats from the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Qatar were also present.

Congratulatory telegrams on the occasion of Qatar National Day to their colleagues were sent by the President of Ukraine Mr. Petro Poroshenko, Prime-Minister Mr. Arsenii Yatsenyuk and the Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mr. Pavlo Klimkin.
