On February 11-12, 2016 the Ukrainian delegation leaded by the head of the group of interparliamentary relations with the State of Qatar in the Parliament of Ukraine, MP Mr. Andriy Artemenko paid a working visit to Qatar.

During the visit, with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar, talks with the Minister of Municipal Works and Ecology (also supervises the Agro-industries) H.E. Mr. Mohamed Al Rumeyhi who served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar on international cooperation till January 2016 were organized.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Yevhen Mykytenko and the diplomats of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar. The visit took place in the context of the agreements reached in November 2015 by Ukrainian enterprises resulted from their participation in the international agricultural exhibition "Agriteq" in Doha.

Members of the Ukrainian delegation held also a number of meetings aimed to further intensify parliamentary, governmental and business contacts between Ukraine and Qatar.
