Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Yevhen Mykytenko held a meeting and talks with the Emir`s Adviser on Culture Affairs H.E. Mr.Hamad Al Kuwari, during which intensification of bilateral cooperation in the respective area was discussed.

Special attention was paid to cooperation between Ukraine and Qatar within the framework of international organizations, including UNESCO.

Qatari official, who until recent days headed the Ministry of Culture of the State of Qatar, expressed hope that Ukraine would support his candidacy for the post of Director General of UNESCO on the upcoming elections.
