On June 4^th, 2017 the Qatari newspaper "Al-Raya" published the interview of the Ambassador Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko on the occasion of Ramadan.

 

Its main signals:

 

- Ukraine counts on the support of Qatar to obtain observer status in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation;

- sad anniversary of deportation of the Crimean Tatar population;

- Ukraine is grateful to Qatar for the firm and consistent position on the issue of protection of territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country;

- Ukraine expects additional Qatari humanitarian aid to Donbass refugees and internally displaced persons;

- Ukraine is doing a great job to support the Muslims among the Crimean Tatars and representatives of the Arab diaspora.
