On September 20, 2018 at the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Qatar Ukrainian community of Qatar, Embassy staff and their families joined the international event «Light a Candle of Memory» in order to commemorate millions of Ukrainians – victims of the Grand Famine – Holodomor 1932-1933 in Ukraine, committed by the Stalin regime.

The participants watched a short documentary film about the tragedy of Holodomor 1932-1933, lighted a Candle of Memory and observed a minute of silence in remembrance of the victims of Holodomor.
