On February 26, 2019 the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Qatar hosted Ukrainian public activist and world traveler Mr.Mykola Podrezan, who visited Qatar within his social project ««Planet Earth. The view from a wheelchair»».

Mykola Podrezan shared his impressions about the trips, in particular regarding the adaptation of the international experience in the development of tourism infrastructure to the needs of disabled persons. According to Mr.Mykola, the State of Qatar, which became the 61^st country he has visited within his social project, has tourism infrastructure that is one of the most advanced and most adapted to the people with special needs worldwide.

During his trip Mykola Podrezan was received by the General Manager of Katara Cultural Village Dr.Khalid Al Sulaiti. Both sides discussed ideas concerning the implementation of a joint projects in cultural and humanitarian spheres. At the end of the meeting Dr.Khalid AL Sulaiti presented a souvenir to Mr.Podrezan.
