On June, 25-27, 2019, thе delegation of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE) headed by Mr.Mykhaylo Lukashev visited Qatar on a working visit.

During the visit, with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar, the Ukrainian delegation held meetings with Vice President of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industries Mr.Mohammed bin Tuwar Al-Kuwari, and Head of the Qatar Businessmen Association Sheikh Faisal Bin Qasim Al Thani, who also is the owner of the largest private industrial-investment holding "Faisal Holding".

The number of opportunities and proposals of Ukrainian companies in construction, metallurgy, IT and agriculture spheres were presented to the Qatari officials, as well as perspective joint activities for the nearest future were outlined.

Parties discussed the possibilities of expanding business cooperation between Ukraine and Qatar and agreed to intensify the exchange of visits between entrepreneurs of both countries.
