On October 11, 2019, the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Qatar conducted «Day of the Ukrainian Language and Ukrainian Studies» for children-citizens of Ukraine residing in Qatar. The classes were carried out by Ukrainian teachers from our community in Qatar, who agreed to join the project on a voluntary basis.

Kids had an opportunity not only to demonstrate their knowledge about the native Ukraine and Ukrainian language, but also to make new friends, while their parents had a pleasant opportunity to meet and interact with their compatriots.

Representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Mr. Olexandr Davydenko, Mr.Ivan Bondarchuk and Mrs.Anna Sorokina joined the event, what became a pleasant surprise for the kids. Representatives of NOC of Ukraine, who are visiting Qatar with the Ukrainian team, that participates in the first ever World Beach Games, presented to Ukrainian children memorable souvenirs!
