On January 12-13, 2020 the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Qatar opened the Book of Condolences due to the horrific catastrophe of the flight PS 752 Tehran – Kiev that was operated by the Ukraine International Airlines on January 8, 2020, which claimed the lives of 176 passengers and crew members - citizens of Ukraine, Iran, Canada, Sweden, Afghanistan, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Representatives of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the State of Qatar, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar extended their sincere condolences to Ukraine, relatives and friends of the victims.
