On January 19, 2021, one of Qatar's top newspapers «Al Raya» published interview with Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Qatar H.E.Andrii Kuzmenko.

The Ambassador of Ukraine stressed that the results of the 41st GCC summit and the signing of the Al Ula Declaration are welcomed in Ukraine and noted that he considered the agreements reached during the summit to be the beginning of an irreversible process of restoring trust and full-fledged bilateral relations between Qatar and other Gulf states.

Ukraine is interested in further strengthening partnership with all Gulf nations based on the principles of friendship and mutual respect.
