On February 16, 2021 Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar Andrii Kuzmenko met with the Chairperson of Qatar Museums, Doha Film Institute and Reach Out to Asia Her Excellency Sheikha Meyassa bint Hamad Al Thani.

During the meeting both sides discussed the issues of deepening Ukrainian-Qatari cooperation in the fields of art, culture and museum affairs. In particular, Sheikha Mayassa was briefed on the project of cultural and artistic platform – The virtual museum "Ukraine: New Era Art".

The parties agreed to coordinate efforts to develop and deepen Ukrainian-Qatari cooperation and strengthen people-to-people ties.
