Minister of Interior of Ukraine Arsen Avakov paid a working visit to the State of Qatar to participate in the International Exhibition of Internal Security Technologies and Police Equipment "Milipol Qatar 2021".

On March 16, 2021, during his visit, Arsen Avakov held talks with Prime Minister, Minister of Interior of Qatar Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani.

The parties discussed prospects of expanding cooperation in the field of security, economy and military-technical cooperation, as well as agreed to sign a number of bilateral documents in the nearest future.

During his visit to Qatar, the Minister of Interior of Ukraine also visited the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Qatar, where he met with the staff of the diplomatic mission.
