On March 31, 2020 Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba held a phone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.
 The Sides discussed issues of further development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Qatar in political and economic spheres as well as efforts to limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Dmytro Kuleba expressed gratitude to the Qatari Side for its help and assistance rendered to Ukraine during evacuation of Ukrainian citizens.
