On January 31, 2020 in Kyiv Qatari company QTerminals, which won the tender for the concession of the Ukrainian Olvia seaport (Mykolaiv), carried out the official presentation of its project. The event was held with the participation of Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii and Minister of Transport and Communications of the State of Qatar Jassim Al Sulaiti.

QTerminals plans to invest 3.4 billion UAH over the next five years into the development of the Ukrainian port and its infrastructure.

During the event, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Qatar H.E. Andrii Kuzmenko held consultations with  Minister of Transport and Communications of Qatar H.E. Jassim Al Sulaiti. The parties agreed to maintain communication and to hold a meeting in Qatar in the nearest future in order to discuss further prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of infrastructure, transport and communications.
