On December 16-th, 2013 in the Chamber of Commerce of Qatar (Doha), a Qatari - Ukrainian business forum was held with the participation of a number of domestic and foreign companies interested in developing business cooperation in different domains such as agriculture, food processing , heavy machinery , transportation, oil and gas , etc.
The delegation of Ukraine, headed by the Vice - President of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Ukraine) Mr.Igor Gres, conducted comprehensive talks with Qatari partners to enhance the cooperation between economic entities of Ukraine and Qatar .
For its part, the Qatari side , headed by the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Qatar Chamber Mr. Mohammed Al- Kuwari, stressed the interest of both the political leadership of Qatar, and the business community of this country to intensify trade and economic cooperation with our country in all areas of mutual interest. Particular emphasis was placed on investment cooperation as one of the promising areas of commercial interaction.

 

 

During the Forum the Ukrainian companies presented to their Qatari partners presentations and reference materials , having provided comprehensive information on the most promising areas of possible collaboration.
In conclusion, the Head of the Ukrainian delegation had invited his Qatari counterpart to visit Ukraine along with local businessmen for personal acquaintance with the Ukrainian companies represented at this event as well as to hold business meetings with the ICC Ukraine leadership.

 

The event, which was widely covered by local media , was attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine in Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko.
