On December 23-d, 2013 Doha city, which hosts the headquarters of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries (GECF), witnessed a grand gathering didicated to the Fifth anniversary of its foundation, to which the Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko was also invited.

 

 

 

 

 

The event was attended by the Secretary General of the Forum (Russia representative) Mr.Leonid Bokhanovskiy, Qatari government officials and representatives of the diplomatic corps.

The Forum joins under its umbrella the 13 world's  largest gas exporting countries, including Russia, Iran, Qatar and others.

Starting from the year 2014 the GECF will be headed by a representative of Iran.
