Interview of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko on "Al-Jazeera" Channel

On February 22, 2014 the Ambassador of Ukraine in the State of Qatar Mr.Yevhen Mykytenko - at the invitation of the Qatari side - visited the studio of the international Arabic satellite channel "Al Jazeera", where he gave a live interview on the latest developments in Ukraine.
In his speech, the Ambassador addressed the audience to commemorate by a pause of silence the souls of those who were killed in the notorious events on the Independence Square.
It was noted that over the past three months, our country has gone through difficult and tragic times in its modern history , when citizens of Ukraine have paid an extremely high price , the price of human lives , having gained the right to a decent life in a democratic and updated Ukraine and chosen the path of restoring the European integration reforms.
The journalists of "Al Jazeera" TV channel expressed their solidarity and conveyed greetings to the people of Ukraine .
