On March 25-th, 2014 in the Qatari capital Doha the Fourth international maritime exhibition "Dimdex- 2014 " was inaugurated under the patronage of H.H. the Emir Sheikh Tamim Al Thani.

The event, which has been traditionally held in the Qatari capital since 2008, was attended by delegations from more than 50 countries as well as 175 companies. The largest pavilions are represented by Turkey (over 30 companies) , UK , USA, Germany and France.

In the framework of the exhibition there is also a specialized military conference being held which is dedicated to prevention and combating piracy. The program of the event includes a demonstration of military ships that arrived in the seaport of Doha under various flags of the participating countries.

 

It is expected that the naval exhibition " Dimdex- 2014 ", which will run until March 27, 2014. , will be visited by more than 10 thousand visitors.

The exhibition was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, including the Ambassador of Ukraine in Qatar Mr.Yevhen Mykytenko (pictured with Ambassador of China to Qatar Mr.Kao Yu-Chin).
