On May 12, 2014 in Doha ( State of Qatar ) the annual international exhibition of building materials and technologies "Project Qatar -2014" has started.

The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Economy and Commerce of Qatar , Sheikh Ahmed Al Thani , who toured the exhibit booths .

The event is attended by over 2,100 enterprises and companies from 47 countries. The largest pavilions are Italy ( 120 companies ), Germany, China , UAE and Turkey.

It is expected that this year's exhibition will be visited by 45 thousand participants who are eager to find partners and suppliers of construction products in the framework of the preparations for the Qatar World Cup in 2022.

In this exhibition the Ukrainian wooden doors factory " New Style " (Kherson city) is also participating.

The event will run until May 15-th inclusive. In 2015, the exhibition "Project Qatar" will be held from 4 to 7 May.
