The ceremony of inauguration of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took place on 7 June 2014 in the Verkhovna Rada.

The solemn session in the parliament started from National Anthem of Ukraine performed by the Ukrainian National Honoured Academic Folk Chorus named after Hrygorii Veryovka. Thereafter Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine Mykhaylo Okhendovsky declared the official results of the elections of the President of Ukraine.

Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Yurii Baulin brought newly elected President to take oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people which Petro Poroshenko declared with his hand put on the Constitution of Ukraine and on the Peresopnytsia Gospel.

Petro Poroshenko received the official symbols of the head of state – the Sign of the President of Ukraine, Seals and the Mace of the President of Ukraine and the certificate of taking the office of the President of Ukraine.
