On November 25, 2014 this Ambassador of Ukraine in Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko met the Secretary General of the Qatari "Red Crescent" Association Mr.Saleh Al-Muhanadi, during which the Ukrainian diplomat addressed the Qatari charitable organizations to explore the possibilities of providing humanitarian aid to residents of the eastern regions of Ukraine, as well as to the refugees.

In return, Mr.Saleh al-Muhanadi said that currently the work is underway between the Association and the Ukrainian "Red Cross" wich aims at identifying the needs of the Ukrainian side in the types and quantities of humanitarian aid required by the people who live in the affected regions of Ukraine.
