On March 17,  2015 negotiations in the Qatar Chamber of Commerce took place between the Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko and embassy staff representatives with the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Qatar Eng. Mr. Ali Al-Misned.
During the meeting the parties discussed a range of issues related to the possibilities of intensification of trade and economic cooperation in areas that were reviewed at the end of February during the Ukrainian-Qatari business consultations with the participation of the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the President of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce («ICC Ukraine») Mr. Volodymyr Shchelkunov and the accompanying delegation of business circles of Ukraine.
In particular, the invitation of «ICC Ukraine» to visit Ukraine in May of this year was renewed to Mr. Ali Al-Misned together with a delegation of local businessmen interested in developing business contacts with Ukrainian companies.
Also a list of the biggest exhibitions to be held in Ukraine this year was presented to the Qatari official in order to ensure a possible participation of the Qatari companies in those events.
In turn, Ali al-Misned urged Ukrainian producers and exporters to take part in the largest exhibition in Qatar for goods and building industry technologies "Project Qatar" (Doha, May 04-07, http: //www.projectqatar .com), during which dozens of projects of infrastructure development in the context of preparation for the World Cup in 2022 will be presented.
