On March 30-th, 2015 in the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar the Ambassador Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko and the members of embassy staff met with Mr. Thomas Lee - General Manager of the Qatari unit of South Korean construction and engineering company "SK E & C", which is one of three major construction consortia in the Republic of Korea.

During the talks, the ways and prospects of attracting Ukrainian construction companies to implement infrastructure projects in Qatar, in partnership with local and South Korean counterparts were reviewed.

The Korean interlocutor was briefed on the possibilities of a number of ukrainian companies with significant experience in the successful implementation of construction projects both in Ukraine and abroad.

Parties agreed to maintain contacts for a possible visit of representatives of interested Ukrainian enterprises to Qatar to explore the prospects of cooperation in infrastructural construction domain.
