On April 15, 2015 in Doha the official opening ceremony of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the State of Qatar took place.

The audience was greeted by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Mr. Valentyn Rybakov. The ceremony was attended by heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Qatar, including the Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko.

The leadership of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus has expressed gratitude to the representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar for providing information and advisory assistance in establishing of the Belarusian Embassy in. Doha.

Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Qatar is the second diplomatic mission of this country (after the capital in UAE. Abu Dhabi) to be opened in the Gulf region.
