On June 1, 2015 Doha hosted the opening ceremony of the 12th "US-Islamic World" Forum, which was attended by the Prime Minister Mr.Abdullah Al Thani (pictured), Foreign Minister Khalid Al Atyyya and other executives of Qatar. The Forum was addressed with a welcoming speech by the Head of Qatari government, who called for intensified political dialogue on tackling a number of challenges which are facing the  Middle East region.

The event brought together politicians, scientists, journalists and diplomats from many countries, including the Ambassador of Ukraine in Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko.
