On May 24, 2015 the Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar Mr.Yevhen Mykytenko met with the Director General of Cultural and Educational Center "Katara" Dr. Khalid al-Suleyti, during which the sides discussed the future plans of joint cultural events, including a demonstration of Ukrainian art films and organizing a concert of musicians from Ukraine.
In May this year In the center "Katara" the opening of Ukrainian artist Andriy Chornovil and Drawings of pupils of Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth were successfully conducted.
The artist A.Chornovil gifted to the Ukrainian embassy in Doha his painting "Meeting", which, according to his vision, symbolizes the friendly relations between Qatar and Ukrainian peoples.
