On November 3rd, 2015 the Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko along with the other accredited to Doha heads of diplomatic missions attended the opening ceremony of the 44th session of the Advisory Council (Parliament) of Qatar.
In the courtroom "Shura" the gathering was welcomed by the Emir of Qatar H.H. Sheikh Tamim Al Thani and the Chairman of the Advisory Council Mr. Mohamed Al Huleyfi. In their speeches, Qatari dignitaries stressed the need to continue the course for sustainable economic development and food security and combating international and regional challenges.
The "Shura" is an advisory body , all 35 members of which are appointed by the Emir of Qatar.
