On October 29, 2015 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Qatar Mr.Yevhen Mykytenko visited the World Championship of Paralympic Athletics IPC-2015, which is taking place in Doha from 21 to 31 October 2015

The event brings together athletes from 60 countries, including Ukraine. The delegation of our country consists of 46 members, 31 of whom are athletes with of special needs.

As of  October 29-th  Ukrainian team ranks 12th in overall medal score, 4 of which are golden, 6 - silver and 13 - bronze medals.

The same day the ambassador attended the award ceremony of the competition, among whom was our compatriot Dmitry Ibragimov (pictured), who won a bronze medal in the shot put conquest.

Athletes who won gold and silver medals at this championship, are automatically qualifying  for future participation in the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
