On February 16, 2016 in Doha (The State of Qatar) the opening ceremony of the 12th Conference on Interfaith dialogue took place.

Traditionally representatives of Muslim, Christian and Jewish clergy from around the world participate in the named event.

This year the official delegation from Ukraine headed by the Director of the Department for Religions Affairs and Nationalities in the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine Mr. Andriy Yurash is participating. The delegation also included the Archbishop of Chernihiv and Nizhyn "Yevstratii" (both pictured with the Ambassador) and the Head of the Ukrainian Center for Dialogue and Communications sheikh Imad Abu AlRub.

On February 17, 2016 the head of the Ukrainian delegation will be moderating one of the working panels on strengthening the role of specialized agencies in defining the religious, media, intellectual and cultural values.

The conference will last till February 17-th.

The opening of the Forum was also attended by the  Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko.
