On March 16, 2016 Qatari leading Arabic newspapers "Al-Sharq" and "Al-Raya" published an interview with the Ambassador of Ukraine in the State of Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko dedicated to the adopted on March 2-d, 2016 the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 145 "On Amendments to the Rules of entry-visas to Ukraine and transit through its territory."
The Ambassador noted that the Resolution was adopted to liberalize the visa regime with Qatar and other countries. In particular, the Resolution provides:
- Short-term visa type "C" to the citizens of Qatar, Australia, the Republic of Albania, Kingdom of Bahrain, the Republic of Guatemala, the State of Kuwait, Malaysia, the United Mexican States, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Republic of Turkey is issued without providing the corresponding invitations, except cases mentioned in paragraph 7 of the Regulations.
Regulation comes into force on March 18, 2016
