On May 18-th, 2016 in the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Qatar Ambassador Yevhen Mykytenko and embassy`s diplomats met with VP Commercial for the Middle East, Asia and Africa of the Ukrainian company Interpipe Mr. A.Burtsev and Regional Manager of Interpipe Mr. V.Bisovetskyi.

Interpipe, which has been present on the market of the Gulf for a long period of time with its regional office in Dubai (UAE), is currently one of major suppliers of steel pipes for the construction market in Qatar. Ukrainian company has already implemented several contracts in Qatar for “Qatar Rail”, “Doha Oasis” and “Grand Park” projects.

During the meeting the parties discussed concrete steps of cooperation to expand the presence of Ukrainian products at the Qatari market, particularly in the context of the preparation of a number of infrastructure projects to the FIFA World Cup - 2022.
