On May 21, 2016 in the State of Qatar under the patronage of the Emir Sheikh Tamim Al Thani the 16th Doha Forum  on Democracy, Development and Free Trade has started. The Forum opening ceremony was attended by the UN Secretary General B.Ki-moon, presidents of Yemen, Niger, Mauritius, Afghanistan,  Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Argentina, Singapore and others, as well as known economists, diplomats, scientists, representatives of non-governmental organizations and international media.

Forum is being held under the motto "The stability and prosperity for all."

The opening of the Forum was attended also by representatives of the diplomatic corps, including Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mr.Yevhen Mykytenko.
