On August 14, 2016 the Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko together with the embassy`s staff took part in a round table dedicated to the Eighth anniversary of the Russian aggression against Georgia, hosted by the Embassy of Georgia in Doha.

The event was attended by the ambassadors of Greece and Spain, as well as by representatives of the embassies of Algeria, Malaysia, Syria, the US, Japan and others.

Participants of the meeting were shown a video footage on the Russian-Georgian conflict back in 2008.

It was also on stressed on the tragic consequences to which Russian military actions led on the Georgian soil.

Parties that participated in the roundtable agreed that the current aggression of Russia against Ukraine is, above all, one of the outcomes of Kremlin's impunity after the attack on Georgia.
