On November 27, 2016 the Ambassador of Ukraine to Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko held meetings and talks with the First Vic-rector of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Ms.Nadia Al Sheybi.
Participants of the meeting discussed prospects of cooperation between Qatar Diplomatic Institute and the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine . In this context, the Ambassador conveyed to the Qatari side a draft memorandum of understanding on co-operation between these educational institutions.
In turn, N.Al-Sheybi expressed interest of her institution to conclude that document for the development and intensification of contacts with the Ukrainian partner for providing trainings of young diplomats, organization of joint conferences, symposia, round tables, courses of Arabic and Ukrainian languages etc.
Parties agreed till the end of this year to determine a plan for further action in this area, and to coordinate the schedule of exchange visits between Qatar Diplomatic Institute and the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.
