On November 29-30 in Doha (State of Qatar) under the patronage of the President of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Social Development, the mother of the Emir Sheikha Moza Al-Misned an annual World Summit on innovation in health care was held. More than 1400 delegates from government officials, prominent doctors, researchers and businessmen involved in health sector participated in the summit .

Geography of participants covered more than 100 countries, including Ukraine. The official delegation of our country was represented at the summit by the Acting Head of the Public Health Sector in the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Ms. Natalia Piven and Director General of the International rehabilitation Clinic of Ukraine (city of Truskavets), the Hero of Ukraine, Professor Volodymyr Kozyavkin.

Members of the Ukrainian delegation took part in a series of round tables and thematic panels, during which modern methods and mechanisms of reforms of the medical systems of foreign countries, their experience in the administration of health services and facilities, the fight against autism prevention of diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular and infectious diseases were considered.

The event was also attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine in the State of Qatar Mr. Yevhen Mykytenko and embassy staff.
