On April 6, 2017 Qatari media reported about the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers of Qatar during the regular meeting held on April 5 this year in Doha of the draft Agreement on the establishment of Joint Commission on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Qatar.

It should be noted that on February 21, 2017 the said draft document was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which empowered the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mr. Stepan Kubiv to sign this agreement during the nearest bilateral high-level function.
