On July 20^th, 2017, in the city of Doha the Ambassador Yevhen Mykytenko met with the Minister of Municipality and Environment (also supervises the Agro-industries) H.E. Mr. Mohamed Al Rumeihi.

The parties reviewed the state of cooperation and prospects for its expansion in various areas, with a special emphasis on the field of agriculture. During the meeting a number of proposals of leading domestic agricultural companies were presented to the Qatari Minister.

The sides also stressed the importance of expanding the legal framework of bilateral relations, in particular through the conclusion of agreements in the spheres of ecology and agriculture. It was agreed to hold further meetings to specify the projects, the implementation of which could be interested for both sides.
