On January 24, 2018 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Qatar Yevhen Mykytenko met with the Head of the Advisory Council (Shura) of Qatar Ahmed Al Mahmoud.

The sides discussed current state and prospects of the development of bilateral relations between both states, the level of inter-parliamentary cooperation as well as exchanged views on urgent international and regional issues.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction on current dynamics of the cooperation between Ukraine and Qatar, positively noted the increasing of trade turnover and agreed to facilitate the acceleration of contacts between two parliaments.
